A new type of glass nail file is the arc file. Around the perimeter of this type of file there is a rounded groove for grinding the nails. Unlike the classic glass file, which is flat, the arc file is curved to copy the shape of the nail.
Thanks to the groove, which is curved in both directions, the nail naturally rounds and closes. Unlike classic glass files, there are no flats or sharp spots on the nails. Working with this type of file is very simple: Just place the nail in the U-shaped groove and sand with pulling movements. Everything else is taken care of by the unique rounded shape of the file, which emulates the natural shape of the nail.
